Sinalco makes an impact at the drinktec
With 1445 companies presenting their products and services to 67,000 visitors from 183 countries, the drinktec in Munich was this year’s event to be at and be seen at. All the major players in the drinks and liquid-food industries were present.
Sinalco’s main stand featured a lounge for visitors to relax in. The modern and stylish setting was also the perfect for getting to know industry players better and establishing new contacts.
Sinalco was a big hit outside the exhibition hall, too. Our bright yellow show truck was such an eyecatcher that many visitors stopped to take a photograph. There was refreshment for everyone at our beach-bar, and music every afternoon from bands from Germany and beyond. The great live performances and free cool Sinalco were the perfect way to end a busy day.
The third element of Sinalco’s presence was a stand at the new beverage concepts area. We presented new drinks such as our energi s coconut, and varieties made with different sweeteners to taste and compare. This stand helped to further enhance our reputation for innovation.
Sinalco’s visit to the drinktec was extremely well received. We presented our cult brand in a positive and attractive way to a wide variety of new and established players from all around the world, and made a number of promising contacts. We hope that 16th – 20th September 2013 will be the beginning of another successful chapter in our history.
“This was our third visit to the drinktec and it remains the most important trade fair for our industry,” said Mongi Goundi, Managing Director of Sinalco International Brands. “The visitors this year were more international than ever. We were happy to meet customers from Myanmar and Qatar and from Algeria and elsewhere in Africa at our stand.”
The next drinktec will be in 2017, also in Munich. And of course, Sinalco will be there.
